Thank you for visiting my website. Among many other things that I am, I am, first and foremost, a writer.

One of the first things that people ask me is WHY I'm a writer. The answer, I have discovered is threefold.

1. I write to inform.
2. I write to touch someone emotionally.
3. I write because I absolutely have to. Asking me not to write is like asking me to stop breathing. It won't happen.

When I'm asked about why I write for children, my answer is simple. "I write for children because they see all things as being fresh and new. I'm a BIG KID and I love learning new things, seeing things from a different perspective."
